how payments work
OXIDE, operated by New Company 1 Ltd ("Company", "we", "us"), runs on a prepaid wallet. You top up your wallet balance, then spend those credits on skins in the marketplace and on coaching in the Academy. All amounts on OXIDE are displayed in US dollars (USD).
accepted methods
Wallet top-ups are made by credit or debit card — Visa and Mastercard only. We do not accept PayPal, bank transfers, cryptocurrency, or any other payment method for top-ups. Coaching and skins are always paid from your wallet balance, never charged to your card directly.
card processing & security
Card payments are handled by a third-party, PCI-DSS-compliant payment provider. We do not store your full card number on OXIDE servers — card details are passed directly to the provider over an encrypted connection. The provider performs fraud screening and may decline a transaction it considers high-risk.
when you are charged
Your card is charged at the moment you confirm a wallet top-up. The corresponding credits appear in your wallet immediately on a successful charge. Purchases made later from your wallet do not trigger a new card charge — they simply draw down your balance.
failed & declined payments
If a card payment is declined, no credits are added and you are not charged. If a top-up is authorised but the credit is not applied due to a system error, the amount is reconciled to your wallet automatically. Skin trades that fail to deliver are auto-refunded to your wallet — see our Refund Policy for detail.
currency & pricing
Prices are shown and charged in USD. If your card is denominated in another currency, your bank applies its own exchange rate and may add a foreign-transaction fee. OXIDE does not control or receive those bank charges.
chargebacks
If you believe a charge is incorrect, contact us first at support@oxide.market — we can usually resolve it faster than a card dispute. Initiating a chargeback for a delivered order or spent wallet balance may result in your account being suspended pending review.
